Deposit Guide for Beginners: How to Transfer Digital Assets from MetaMask to Your Nativ Account
Note: As a beginner, ensure you understand each step before proceeding. Keep in mind that mistakes can lead to irreversible loss of funds. If unsure, seek help from experienced individuals or resources.
Warning: Cryptocurrency transactions come with risks. Stay vigilant, follow instructions carefully, and avoid sharing sensitive information. Transactions cannot be undone, so double-check everything before proceeding.

Step 1: Create/Login with Your MetaMask Account Password/Seed Phrase
If you're new to MetaMask, start by creating an account. Visit the official MetaMask website and follow the instructions to set up your account. You'll create a strong password and receive a seed phrase – this is like a backup key. Keep it safe and private.
If you already have a MetaMask account, log in using your password and seed phrase. Make sure you're using the official MetaMask website or app.

Open your MetaMask wallet (a browser extension or mobile app).
At the top, make sure you've selected "Ethereum Main Network" to work with the Ethereum network.

Look for the USDT (Tether) balance within your MetaMask wallet. Ensure you have enough USDT for the transfer.
If you cannot see your coin/token, simply click on 'Import tokens’. Then,

Search for the token you want – in this case, USDT. Click on USDT and press 'Import' at the bottom right (scroll down if you can't see it).

Note: Gas Fee for Transaction
To perform transactions on the Ethereum network, you'll need a small amount of Ethereum (ETH) to cover the gas fee. Gas fees are like a service fee for using the network.
You can check the current gas fee estimate on websites like Etherscan's Gas Tracker (https://etherscan.io/gastracker). This will give you an idea of how much ETH you'll need for the transaction.

Step 2: Generate an Address in Nativ for Receiving Cryptocurrency
Open the Nativ app (Available on both Android and iOS).

Press ‘Deposit’

Choose the cryptocurrency you want to deposit to Nativ, in this case, we’ll choose the USDT.

Select the blockchain network that you want to send them through. (This selection of network ‘MUST MATCH’ with what you select on Gate.io, including any platforms where you withdraw your crypto).
Note: most of the time TRC-20 will cost less fees than ERC-20 network.

Copy the address for receiving cryptocurrency into Nativ.
You can also save the QR code image and use it in the supported platform, including Gate.io (The QR code will display the same address that you copy).
Get ready to transfer!

Step 3: Withdraw USDT from MetaMask to Your Nativ Account
Only a few simple steps left to be a crypto ‘Nativ’, hang tight.
Within MetaMask, locate and click on the "Send" or "Transfer" button on the middle button.

And this will lead you to the "Send to" page, where you need to fill in your Nativ’s address or you can scan the QR code using the scan icon, and then click on Next.

Then, you'll encounter a field to input the amount you intend to transfer. Change the currency at the top of this field to USDT.

And enter the specific amount you wish to transfer. Always ensure the entered amount of USDT is accurate before proceeding.

Check all the details including address, network, amount to send, and network fee.
Press ‘Send’ when ready to proceed. This is the final process to transfer funds. No turning back here.
WARNING: Once you press "Send" please be aware that the transaction cannot be undone. Double-check all details before proceeding, as any mistakes could result in the permanent loss of your funds.

Voila! Your cryptos from MetaMask are on their way to Nativ. Please wait some time for block confirmation on the blockchain network. (When a block is confirmed, you will see your funds immediately in Nativ. No extra process is needed from our side).
You can also check the estimated transaction time for each blockchain network below.
